I ndonesia and Japan has already established good relationship with each other. The relationship, which comprises cultural, economic and diplomatic exchange, has brought many benefits for both countries. Indonesia-Japan diplomatic relationship reaches its golden anniversary this year, which should be used as a moment to further enhance the bilateral relationship of two countries.
The Indonesian Student Association in Japan (ISA-Japan), as an organization for Indonesian students who are currently studying and pursuing different courses in Japanese universities and institutions, feels the importance of organizing an event which facilitates the creation of intense scientific atmosphere among members and to keep up and strengthen the spirit for conducting innovative researches.ISA-Japan strongly believes that this spirit is very important in building a better future for Indonesia.
As one of the efforts to strengthen the research culture among members and to provide a foundation to establish a solid research community, ISA-Japan has been organizing annual scientific meeting for its members and any interested individuals from all over Japan.
The 17th Indonesian Scientific Meeting will be an exciting forum for Indonesian research community in Japan to discuss, share and exchange their latest research progress that hopefully can contribute in empowering Indonesia-Japan relationship. This event will also encourage and facilitate the establishment of networking among participants who come from various backgrounds such as students, teaching staffs, engineers, government employees, or any individual that will eventually return to their home country to implement their knowledge and build their country. Objectives
- To provide a forum for Indonesian researchers community in Japan in order to discuss, share and exchange their latest research progress.
- To develop and initiate a sustainable networking between participants.
- To formulate a comprehensive strategy to empower Indonesia-Japan relationship.
- To broaden information access for Indonesian scientific communities toward global scientific, technology, and engineering societies.
- To create links between Japanese and Indonesian scientist institutions.
